Ambassadors

When I learned what a valuable contribution CIG 2022 was making to the local community, coupled with the fact that over 30 years I was in the Hammersmith Hospital undergoing a bone marrow transplant at the same time as Mark’s mother, Frances, I was only too happy to lend my support to such a wonderful and fulfilling cause.

The work carried out by the Charity, is a testament to Frances, and the inspiration she was, during her lifetime. This has obviously continued with Mark; initiating the schemes and projects through the Charity that serve and assist the Community so well – a fitting legacy indeed!

Over the years, I have undertaken a number of charity challenges for a variety of causes, raising millions of pounds in the process; but the origin of my fundraising stems from the time I spent with Frances in hospital and our determination to both be able give something back to the community and those in need.

It is heartening an immensely satisfying that even to this day, through CIG 2022 and my continuing charity commitments, we are both able to do so.
